Condo Company
This website is one of the top visited condominium sites on the Internet. It receives about 5,000 unique visitors per day and generates thousands of real estate leads a month. This project was originally a custom coded MVC platform, but as the focus of CondoCompany.com shifted, it became clear that Drupal would be a better option. The migration was a huge undertaking, but was completed in January 2010 with little downtime and much success.
Some of the many Drupal specific technologies involved in this project include:
- Extensive views work, in conjunction with node reference and node referral, to create multi level hierarchies
- Ubercart integration, with innovative recurring billing system that ties into Authorize.net
- Multilevel roles, with Ubercart integration, to allow the ability to purchase additional access to functionality on the site
- Panels, to handle contextual display of layouts and blocks
Eugene School District - 4J
In order help out with an upgrade from Drupal 5 to Drupal 6 for this large website for the Eugene School District, several key modules needed to be upgraded as well. One of those modules was a custom module written for the site that integrated the Mailman mailing list manager into the Drupal backend. The module was originally written for Drupal 4.7, and very quickly ported to Drupal 5, so there was a fair amount of upgrading to do to get the module working for 6.
Drucker Eyes
Drucker Eyes is a website for eye care specialists in Denver, Colorado built in Drupal 6. In order to accommodate all of the different services and levels of the website, I took advantage of the context module in order to provide custom menus and blocks on each subpage. I also used the menu_block module to display nested menu items on subpages.
Exclusive Royal Realty
ExclusiveRoyalRealty.com is a high end real estate website that focuses on the South Florida market. This site uses Drupal as it's foundation with many custom modules added to integrate the site with the RETS IDX system in order to show MLS units on the website and also associate those listings with specific condo buildings. The site automatically handles inserting, updating and deleting the tens of thousands of properties listed on the site, as well as automatically sorting and organizing the properties.
Shows Las Vegas
This is a recently launched website that is less than a year old. We were hired to do the entire platform and marketing for this project and did everything from its site design and development to its online marketing campaign. In less then 6 months, we achieved significant results in generating traffic from natural search engine rankings.
Drupal seemed like a great fit for most of the site's needs, but they also needed integration with their third party ticket provider, including ticket prices, shipping information, and order handling. Fortunate, Ubercart provides hooks into every level of the checkout process. We were able to create:
- Custom checkout panes
- New shipping apis to pull shipping data from third party
- Live, up-to-date pricing information for ticket products
- Custom payment handler
- Custom order handler, to securely send completed order to third party
Denver Magazine
Denver Magazine is a monthly magazine published in Denver, Colorado that focuses on "Live in the Mile High City": culture, sports, and politics. With the first issue published in the winter of 2007, a corresponding website was launched to create a strong web presence for the magazine. Originally prototyped in Drupal 4.7, denvermagazine.com was launched in Drupal 5.x alongside the publication of the first issue. This site has been a lot of fun to work on, and contributed to my love of all things Drupal, in that it made my life a lot easier when confronted with the many and ever expanding tasks that this site required.
Nancy Conescu
Nancy Conescu is a talented, internationally respected guitarist and vocalist. She plays music festivals and venues in Ireland, Japan and the USA, and performs often here in Portland, Oregon. Her site was developed using Drupal and includes modules to provide easy playback of music and for concert listings.
